HAALS on Wheels

Home-as-a-Learning-SPACE on Wheels is an innovative project that transforms buses into mobile learning spaces. These buses visit urban slums, remote villages, and tribal regions to promote the importance of creating stimulating home learning environments during the early years. Trainers conduct awareness and capacity-building sessions for caregivers and parents, focusing on educational activities and the integration of resources. By bringing educational materials directly to underserved communities, this project aims to empower families and enhance educational opportunities for young children in marginalized areas.

State-Level Consultation on Early Childhood Education

SpacECE organised a Get-Together with more than 100 ECE experts from all over Maharashtra. It set the tone for serious efforts in the ECE domain.  Ms Madhuri Sahasrabudhe (Councillor, PMC), Dr Suneeta Kulkarni (Granny Cloud), Mr Chittaranjan Kaul (CLR), Mr Nilesh Nimkar (QUEST), Ms Sushma Padhye (Grammangal), Ms Shubhada Joshi (Khelghar), and Dr Godbole (Chiranjiv Clinic) were amongst them.

SPACE Talks Series on Early Childhood Education

We are glad to share that the 'MS Talk Series on ECE' was inaugurated by Dr Mr Mrs Godbole with the topic 'Enhancing Potential during Early years'. It was great to see an overwhelming response from 900 participants from all over Maharashtra, which included parents, preschool teachers, Anandwadi Workers/Sevikas and NGO professionals. It highlighted the need to continue organizing similar events in the near future.

SpacECE's YouTube Channel provides diverse educational materials, including online session videos accessible in both online and offline modes. Notably, they have a dedicated video gallery focused on children aged 0-8 years, with a specific emphasis on the Indian context. Parents are invited to upload content to a restricted channel, which will be utilized for research by university departments specializing in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
