Founding Team
Aparna Chaudhari
With 15 years of experience in child development, child rights, and child education, Aparna brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Having worked with esteemed organizations such as ChildLine, Campaign Against Child Labour, and Kaivalya Education Foundation, she has demonstrated strong leadership and managerial skills. Aparna holds a Master's in Education from Azim Premji University, Bangalore, a Master's in Social Work (Psychiatry) from Pune University, and a Bachelor's in Social Work from Nagpur University.
She firmly believes in the transformative power of a nurturing environment for children's holistic growth, emphasizing the importance of enriching their surroundings with ample resources.
Sachin Mohite
With 15 years of experience in educational research, program design, and leadership roles, Sachin has made significant contributions to non-profit organizations and corporates alike. His expertise spans across sectors, including organizations like Muttha Foundation, SAP, Reliance Games, and educational start-ups like Learning Yogi. Sachin holds a PhD in Education (Active Citizenship Education) from the University of York, a Master's in Education (Leadership) from Azim Premji University, and a Master's in Computer Application (Management) from Pune University. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Science (Physics) and Postgraduate Diplomas in Child Psychology and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Sachin firmly believes that strong and well-trained organizational leadership is crucial for driving community-led, large-scale educational change and ensuring its sustainability beyond intervention.
Legal Status
SpacECE, registered as SpacECE India Foundation under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013, holds a solid legal status. The organization possesses various important documents and certificates, including the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) registered with the office of the Registrar of Companies. Additionally, SpacECE is equipped with the necessary registrations such as the Permanent Account Number (PAN), Tax Deduction Account Number (TAN),12A, and 80G which grants exemption from income tax payment. Furthermore, SpacECE is recognized by the government of NGO Darpan, confirming its status as a recognized non-profit organization.
